Brendan Rodgers Passes Concussion Protocols
3 years agoColorado Rockies second baseman Brendan Rodgers (head) was removed from Monday's game against the Washington Nationals in the first inning after being hit in the helmet by a pitch. Fortunately, he went on to pass all concussion protocols. He should be considered day-to-day. Rodgers has been hitting well lately with a .302/.323/.510 slash line in September. He has 15 home runs, 48 RBI and 47 runs over 97 games on the year. The 25-year-old has been plagued with injuries for several years, but we've finally gotten an extended look at him in the majors and he's delivered some solid production. He'll be a good mid-round target in drafts next spring.
