Brandon Nimmo Back For The Mets
3 months agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo (shoulder) is back in left field and is batting third on Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles and right-hander Dean Kremer at Citi Field. A right-shoulder injury caused the Mets to pull Nimmo prematurely from Sunday's contest, and he missed the series opener against Baltimore on Monday, but Nimmo is back in there for Game 2 of the series. The 31-year-old veteran outfielder has hit for only a .229 clip (100-for-437) this year, but he does still have a useful .343 on-base percentage, 18 home runs and 11 stolen bases, not to mention 71 RBI and 70 runs. During his current three-game hitting streak, he's gone 4-for-12 (.333) with two homers, a triple and four RBI. Fantasy managers will want to get him back into their starting lineups on Tuesday, especially against a right-handed pitcher.
