Brandon Morrow's Season Is Over
5 years agoChicago Cubs president Theo Epstein said that relief pitcher Brandon Morrow (elbow) suffered another setback and will miss the rest of the season. The team's former closer hasn't pitched in the majors since before the All-Star break in 2018. He lost any real chance to return to fantasy relevance when the Cubs traded for Craig Kimbrel at the deadline this year, too. The 35-year-old has a long road back and can only hope to return to a setup role in 2020 if he can finally get back on track with his injuries.
