Brandon Lowe In Cleanup Spot Again
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Brandon Lowe is starting at second base and is batting cleanup on Monday against Rockies right-handed starter Chad Bettis. Lowe has power upside and needs to be considered by those in AL-only and deep mixed leagues, especially with second baseman Joey Wendle (hamstring) on the injured list now. Lowe's left-handed stick might not be in the lineup against left-handers, but he can do damage in daily lineups and deeper leagues after he hit .377/.411/.698 with three homers and 17 RBI in 18 Grapefruit League games this spring. Keep an eye on him.
