4 years agoMiami Marlins closer Brandon Kintzler blew his second consecutive save on Monday, but ended up earning the win when the Marlins beat the Braves in extra innings. Kintzler started the season with nine straight saves, but he's now blown two in a row. On Monday, he allowed a run on two hits and two walks. Never a guy with strikeout stuff, Kintzler relies on ground balls to be effective, but he's been giving up a few long fly outs lately. He should be out of this slump soon, but may need a couple of days off. Brad Boxberger is the next guy up in the Marlins bullpen.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
