Brandon Ingram Leads Lakers In Scoring On Saturday
6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers small forward Brandon Ingram had his best scoring performance since Jan. 25 on Saturday, finishing a 128-115 loss to New Orleans with 29 points. He shot 10-for-18 from the field, including 3-for-4 from behind the arc. A better job from the charity stripe could've led him to his second 30-point outing of the season, but he struggled with his free throws, shooting 6-for-9. Ingram has produced 20-plus points in back-to-back games, but he'll likely struggle to stretch the streak to three games, as the Lakers face Memphis next, who play with the slowest pace in the league.
