Brandon Ingram Goes Off For 40 Points Against Rockets
3 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans small forward Brandon Ingram delivered a season-high 40 points in Sunday's loss to Houston, shooting 15-for-28 from the field with a 3-for-10 mark from deep. He also did well at the foul line with a 7-for-8 effort and capped off his line with five rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block. Ingram last managed to put together a 40-point performance two years ago, so this was a massive effort from the 24-year-old. He's heated up nicely in recent outings, and matchups against Denver and Detroit will give him a couple of good spots to stay hot. The Nuggets started the season as the best defensive team in the league, but they are now ranked 17th in defensive efficiency and could have a very tough time trying to slow down Ingram on Wednesday.
