Brandon Belt Out Of Lineup With Knee Soreness
6 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt (knee) is out of the lineup on Monday due to right knee soreness. The Giants are also facing a left-hander, so that made it an easier decision. Belt's knee injury could persist for the rest of the year, and he could need to undergo a cleanup procedure on it. The 30-year-old is hitting .259/.347/.430 with 14 home runs and 46 RBI on the season. Chase D'Arnaud is at first base and is hitting second against Rockies left-hander Tyler Anderson on Monday. d'Arnaud isn't much to look at, but he has some upside as a deep DFS sleeper in the No. 2 spot and at Coors Field.
