Brandon Aiyuk Could Be A Solid WR3 In Week 2
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring) appears to be on track to make his NFL debut in Week 2 against the New York Jets. Aiyuk was questionable until almost game-time in Week 1 and this week, he returned to practicing in full. The 49ers are badly hurt at wide receiver and they are going into an extremely favorable matchup against a Jets Defense that allowed 312 receiving yards in Week 1 against the Bills. Aiyuk's outlook is even more promising if star tight end George Kittle (knee) is out for the game. He's currently questionable. Regardless, Aiyuk is a solid option as a WR3 or flex in Week 2 as he should see somewhere around seven or eight targets in his debut.
