Brandon Aiyuk A Full Go In Practice
3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring) was a full go in practice on Wednesday. Aiyuk was active in the Week 1 win over the Detroit Lions, but he played on only 47.3 percent of the offensive snaps and wasn't targeted a single time. Of course, fantasy managers want to know what is going on. The Niners didn't exactly need Aiyuk to win this one, but a hamstring injury in training camp has led to inconsistent practice time for the second-year wideout, and that has led to some inconsistent play. As the 23-year-old gets in more practice, he should become a bigger part of the offensive game plan. Whether more of a full-time role comes in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles remains unclear, and the team has been happy with receiver Trent Sherfield. Until Aiyuk's snaps and targets go up on game day, fantasy managers should drop him down in the WR3/4 range.
