Brady Tkachuk Scores In First Game As Captain
3 years agoOttawa Senators left wing Brady Tkachuk set the example straight away as the new team captain on Saturday, scoring in a 5-3 loss against Tampa. The 22-year-old was wearing the "C" for the first time since being named the tenth captain in franchise history on Friday. Tkachuk has scored in back-to-back outings, and he boasts five points for the campaign in eight games with 23 shots and 43 hits. He delivered a whopping nine hits in Saturday's contest. The Senators captain will now start to get ready for a four-game week, which will end with a special matchup against Calgary and his brother Matthew.
