Brady Singer Notches Quality Start Against Astros
3 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Brady Singer had one of his best and longest outings of the year against the Houston Astros on Wednesday. Singer pitched 6 2/3 innings in the game and allowed six hits, two walks and two earned runs while striking out six. It was just his second quality start since June 11 and it was his second-longest outing of the year. The 25-year-old had really struggled over his last two outings, allowing 12 earned runs over just 5.2 innings. He has a 5.23 ERA and a 1.60 WHIP on the year. He shouldn't be trusted for fantasy purposes at this point, but we'll see if he can build off of Wednesday's outing. His next start will be on Tuesday against the Astros once again.
