6 years agoCleveland Indians manager Terry Francona said that outfielder Bradley Zimmer (shoulder) will start serving as the designated hitter in extended spring training this weekend. Starting pitcher Danny Salazar (shoulder) has also resumed throwing side sessions. Zimmer has a long ways to go before he's back in Cleveland, but he's attractive in deep mixed leagues because of his power/speed combination, and he should play regularly when he's healthy. Salazar has shown in the past that he can be relevant for all fantasy owners, but health has been his issue in recent seasons. Keep him on your watch list for now.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
