2 years agoBoston Bruins left wing Brad Marchand (hip) will get his first taste of action this season on Thursday against Detroit. Things have moved quickly on the Marchand front. He was initially set to be out until late November, then he was expected to return before Thanksgiving, and now he's actually ready to play even before we get done with October. The veteran winger will suit up on the top line alongside Patrice Bergeron and Jake DeBrusk. Boston is starting a back-to-back set and it's already confirmed that Marchand won't play any part in Friday's contest versus Columbus. Hopefully, he won't have any issues Thursday night and will be ready for back-to-backs as well soon.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
