Brad Keller To Make 2-3 More Starts
5 years agoKansas City Royals manager Ned Yost said that starting pitcher Brad Keller will likely only make two to three more starts this year. The Royals want to shut him down at 180 innings. Keller is already at 164 innings, so the Royals will keep his pitch count low in his last several outings, severely limiting his fantasy appeal and chance at wins and quality starts. The right-hander is 7-13 on the season with a 3.95 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 121 strikeouts in 164 innings (27 starts). He's got a great matchup with the Orioles on deck this weekend, but he'll be a dart throw with limited darts to throw in his start.
