Brad Hand Bounces Back With His 30th Save
5 years agoCleveland Indians closer Brad Hand responded to his manager's vote of confidence by throwing a scoreless ninth inning and earning his 30th save. Hand had been struggling mightily over the last two months, but manager Terry Francona confirmed that the team would not be making a switch in the ninth inning. Hand came in and allowed a hit, but faced just three batters, making quick work of the ninth inning with just 15 pitches.
