Bobby Witt Jr. Has Big Game In Win Over Astros
1 year agoKansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. finished Friday night's 4-2 win over the visiting Houston Astros by going 2-for-3 with a solo home run, two stolen bases and a walk. Witt's home run proved to be the difference in this ballgame, and he's now up to a career-high 29 home runs and a career-high 46 stole bases while also producing 27 doubles, a league-high eight triples, 89 RBI and 84 runs scored in 144 games in just his second major-league season. The 23-year-old remains a must-start in all fantasy lineups to close out the 2023 season. So far in September, Witt has gone 15-for-49 (.306) with two home runs, three doubles, seven RBI, eight stolen bases and nine runs scored in 12 starts.
