Blue Jays Want To Trade J.A. Happ Before Saturday
6 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays have made it clear that they'd like to move starting pitcher J.A. Happ before his next start on Saturday against the White Sox. The Yankees are believed to be in the pole position, but there are other teams interested in Happ. One way or another, the Yankees will bolster their rotation. Happ is 10-6 this year with a 4.18 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 130 K's over 114 innings. He had a rough patch in late June and early July, but he bounced back with nine strikeouts and one run allowed to Baltimore his last time out. Happ's fantasy value wouldn't be affected all that much by a move to the Bronx.
