5 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays activated closer Ken Giles (elbow) from the injured list on Thursday and optioned reliever Justin Shafer to Triple-A Buffalo in a corresponding move. Giles has been out since June 5 and should immediately return to the closing role for Toronto. He's saved 11 of his 12 opportunities this year and has been very good for his fantasy owners with a 1.08 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 42 K's in 25 innings to go along with those 11 saves.
