Blake Treinen Hasn't Started A Throwing Program
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Blake Treinen (shoulder) has not started a throwing program as he looks to return from a shoulder injury. "I'm just working on getting healthy," Treinen said. "I'm doing the right steps. We have a lot of good people putting me in position to get back as quick as possible." The 33-year-old remains out indefinitely and he doesn't have a clear timetable for a return to the Dodgers bullpen. The veteran reliever pitched just three innings with one walk and five strikeouts this year before landing on the 60-day injured list. When healthy, Treinen is an integral part of Los Angeles' bullpen as a valuable setup man with 79 career saves in nine big-league seasons.
