5 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Blake Snell (elbow) threw 10 fastballs on Tuesday and is tentatively scheduled to throw his first bullpen session on Friday. Snell has been out since July 21 and probably won't return to the Rays rotation until the middle of next month, which means you shouldn't count on any fantasy contributions from him the rest of the way. Last year's American League Cy Young winner has fallen in 2019, going 6-7 with a 4.28 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 136 strikeouts in 101 innings over 20 starts, but he still has elite fantasy upside moving forward.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
