Blake Snell Looks Dominant In No-Decision
1 year agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Blake Snell put together one of his best performances of the season versus the Colorado Rockies on Sunday. The left-hander allowed three hits, gave up one earned run, while striking out 12 batters over seven innings of work. The only run came on a solo homer off the bat of Ezequiel Tovar in the first inning. After that, the Rockies couldn't seem to touch Snell during this game. Sadly for him, the Padres bullpen was unable to hold the lead for him. He'll look to keep the good times rolling versus the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday. Snell holds a 3.78 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and an 81/37 K/BB ratio through 13 starts this season.
