5 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Billy Hamilton is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday. Hamilton now has a line of .226/.302/.290 with no homers, five RBI and nine stolen bases. If infield prospect Nicky Lopez continues to hold his own at second base, Whit Merrifield will likely continue to play center field and leave Hamilton to ride the pine. If Hamilton continues to struggle to get on base, he can't utilize his speed for fantasy owners. Merrifield is always a strong DFS choice when he's playing, especially in the leadoff spot like he is on Wednesday against Cardinals starting pitcher Michael Wacha in Game 1 of the doubleheader.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
