5 years agoThe Cincinnati Bengals selected LSU quarterback Joe Burrow with the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft on Thursday. It's the third straight season that the reigning Heisman Trophy winner has been taken first overall in the NFL Draft. Burrow set single-season college records for passing yards and passing touchdowns on his way to leading the Tigers to a national championship last year. He's expected to be the Bengals starter as soon as Week 1 of the 2020 season, but the COVID-19 pandemic will present unique challenges heading into his rookie season, so Cincy may choose to hang onto Andy Dalton as an insurance policy. Burrow shows great poise and accuracy, but he won't be more than a low-end QB2 in redraft leagues this fall.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
