6 years agoThe Cincinnati Bengals placed oft-injured tight end Tyler Eifert (ankle) on the Injured Reserve on Friday and activated linebacker Vontaze Burfict to the 53-man roster in a corresponding move. Eifert just cannot escape the injury bug, as he has played in just 14 games the last three years and has never played a full season in his six seasons in the league. He can safely be dumped in all leagues. In his absence, C.J. Uzomah and Tyler Kroft should split snaps, but Uzomah may be the one to target in fantasy if you're desperate at the position. The hard-hitting Burfict is returning from a four-game suspension and will be an immediate boost to Cincy's interior defense.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
