Bears To Hold Mitch Trubisky Out For Second Straight Week
6 years agoThe Chicago Bears plan to rest quarterback Mitch Trubisky (shoulder) for the second straight game in Week 13 against the Giants despite the fact that he was limited in practice on Wednesday, according to sources. Trubisky could play right now, but the team wants to play it safe. Chase Daniel will get his second straight start as a result. Daniel was 27-for-37 for 230 yards and two touchdowns in the Thanksgiving win over Detroit last Thursday, but he'll be a low-end QB2 play this Sunday.
