5 years agoThe Chicago Bears are focused on trading for either Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton or Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Nick Foles, according to a source. It explains why the Bears aren't expected to sign New Orleans Saints impending free-agent quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. Both Dalton and Foles have either played for head coach Matt Nagy or a member of his coaching staff, and there's a sense in the organization that Mitch Trubisky will be forced to compete for the starting gig this summer. Dalton and Foles were disappointments in 2019 and both were benched at one point. But they could represent upgrades over Trubisky at this point. Neither Foles nor Dalton would be very attractive from a fantasy standpoint in Chicago as anything more than a low-end QB2.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
