Bears Excited About Cordarrelle Patterson
6 years agoChicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy is excited about the possibilities that wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson brings to the offense. The speedy former first-round pick will also help the team's return game on special teams. "He's going to play with the offense and he's going to have a role," Nagy said. Like he was used in New England, Patterson will likely be more of a gadget player used on sweeps and screens out of the backfield, leaving him very little chance of becoming fantasy relevant. He played on just 22 percent of the Patriots offensive snaps a year ago in his 15 games, but he did set a career high in touches with 63.
