Austin Seferian-Jenkins Going On IR
6 years agoJacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone said tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins (abdomen) will go on Injured Reserve but will be eligible to return this year. Seferian-Jenkins aggravated his core muscle injury in Week 5 against the Chiefs and missed his only target. He has just 11 catches on 19 targets for 90 yards and a score in five games this year. ASF can be dropped in most leagues. With him out, Niles Paul, who caught seven of nine targets for 65 yards on Sunday, is a waiver wire target. With tight end so thin this year, Paul could immediately become a low-end TE1 in Week 6 against the Cowboys.
