5 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows and corner infielder Yandy Diaz are expected to share leadoff duties for the Rays, at least to begin the regular season. Meadows would hit at the top of the order against right-handers, with Diaz getting the nod against lefties. Meadows broke out by hitting .291/.364/.558 with 33 home runs, 89 RBI and 12 stolen bases in 2019 and was an All-Star for the first time. But only nine of his 33 homers came against southpaws. Diaz played in just 79 games due to injuries and hit .267/.340/.476 with 14 home runs and 38 RBI. He hit .314 against lefties and only .245 against right-handers in 2019. Meadows is the more attractive fantasy commodity for his power and speed, and his ADP is currently 45.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
