6 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows (thumb) played in an extended spring training game on Tuesday and will do so again on Wednesday. If he feels good after that, he'll be activated from the injured list in time for the game on Friday against the Yankees. The 24-year-old was off to a great start in his first 20 games, hitting .351/.422/.676 with six home runs, 11 runs, 19 RBI and three steals. He'll return to an everyday role and will hopefully pick up right where he left off for his fantasy owners. Return Meadows to your lineups whenever he returns.
