Austin Adams Dealing With Forearm Tightness
3 years agoSan Diego Padres relief pitcher Austin Adams (forearm) felt some tightness in his right forearm during his appearance in this past Tuesday's game. He has been under evaluation from the team ever since and underwent an MRI. The team is currently awaiting a second opinion before making the diagnosis of his MRI public. The 30-year-old right-hander notched 11 holds for the Padres last year while pitching to a 4.10 ERA and a 1.20 WHIP. He earned a win in his first appearance this year and has pitched 2 1/3 scoreless innings over two appearances.
