6 years agoThe Oakland Athletics signed free-agent starting pitcher Edwin Jackson to a minor league deal on Wednesday. Jackson probably won't immediately enter Oakland's starting rotation, but he should be an option at some point after the 35-year-old had a decent 3.33 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 68 strikeouts in 92 innings (17 starts) for the A's last season. There's not much upside in his right arm at this stage in his career, but he can be a matchup-based streaming option in DFS and AL-only leagues, mainly at home in Oakland.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
