Antonio Callaway, Rashard Higgins Fighting For No. 3 Job
6 years agoCleveland Browns wide receivers Antonio Callaway and Rashard Higgins will battle for the No. 3 receiving job after the team traded Corey Coleman to the Bills. Callaway and Higgins were split out wide with Jarvis Landry in the slot in some formations during 11-on-11 drills in practice on Monday, but Josh Gordon also has yet to report to camp. Head coach Hue Jackson also made it clear that running back Duke Johnson's position won't change at all after the Coleman trade. Callaway was a fourth-round pick this year and has looked smooth running routes and has shown reliable hands in practice. Off-field issues caused Callaway to fall in the draft, but he has first-round talent and could make some noise in his rookie season. Higgins has 33 catches for 389 yards and two touchdowns in his two seasons with Cleveland. Callaway has much more upside, but he's still a more attractive pick in dynasty/keeper leagues for the long term.
