Antonio Brown Still Not Ready
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said that all of the players took part in "a bonus day" on Tuesday where the team walked through 40 to 50 plays, but Arians said that wide receiver Antonio Brown (knee) and safeties Antoine Winfield Jr. (ankle) and Jordan Whitehead (knee, shoulder) are "still not ready to go." Brown and Whitehead were listed as doubtful on the injury report last Friday, while Winfield was questionable. All three still have a chance at facing the Chiefs this Sunday in Super Bowl LV, but they'll have to ramp things up in practice this week to have a shot. Brown was injured in the Divisional Round win over the Saints and did not play in the NFC Championship as a result. If he suits up on Feb. 7, the 32-year-old will be much more risky as a DFS option as the No. 3 wideout behind Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Scotty Miller had a long touchdown reception in the win over the Packers with Brown sidelined.
