Antonio Brown Situation A Long Way From Being Resolved
5 years agoThe NFL met with New England Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown's accuser on Monday for 10 hours in their investigation into sexual-assault allegations, according to a source. However, the matter looks to be a long way from being resolved, and two sources said the league hasn't scheduled a follow-up interview with Brown. It might take several weeks until the league has any updates on the investigation, which means Brown is unlikely to go on the commissioner's exempt list until then. As of now, the receiver is eligible to play in Week 3 against the Jets, where he'll be on the WR1/2 borderline. Brown's presence in the offense takes upside away from Julian Edelman, Josh Gordon and James White in the passing game.
