Antonio Brown Requesting Trade
6 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has requested a trade, according to a source. It's unlikely the Steelers owners will accommodate his wishes, but Brown has issues with head coach Mike Tomlin and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Brown reportedly had an incident with Big Ben before practice last Wednesday, decided not to show up the rest of the week and was made inactive in Week 17 against the Bengals as a result. Brown's antics off the field have brought Pittsburgh bad press, so there is a small chance they decide to move on despite Brown being one of the most talented receivers in the NFL. He finished the 2018 season with 104 catches for 1,297 yards and a league-leading 15 touchdowns. Brown has 100-plus catches and over 1,000 yards in each of the last six seasons. He'll be an elite WR1 even if he's dealt this offseason.
