Antonio Brown Could Be Put On Exempt List
5 years agoThe NFL will explore the sexual-assault lawsuit against New England Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown, and the plaintiff in the lawsuit, Britney Taylor, has expressed a willingness to cooperate with the league. Depending on the information they find, the NFL could place Brown on the Commissioner-Exempt list while the investigation takes place. He could also be disciplined by the league even in the absence of an arrest or conviction. The Patriots aren't expected to take any action while the investigation proceeds. It remains to be seen if Brown will make his Patriots debut in Week 2, making him a risky fantasy option. If Brown is put on the exempt list, it'd be good news for Josh Gordon and Phillip Dorsett.
