Anthony Santander Dealing With A Hamstring Injury
3 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Anthony Santander (hamstring) was held out of Wednesday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies due to a hamstring injury. Orioles manager Brandon Hyde told reporters that Santander sustained the injury during Tuesday's game. The severity of the injury isn't clear at this point, but he should be considered day-to-day. Ryan McKenna, who started in left field on Wednesday, would see an increase in playing time if Santander is forced to miss additional games. Over 108 games on the year, Santander is slashing .244/.289/.432 with 17 home runs, 48 RBI and 53 runs.
