Anthony Santander 2025 Fantasy Baseball Outlook: Looking To Build Off Career Year With New Team
5 hours agoOutfielder Anthony Santander signed a five-year, $92.5 million deal with the Toronto Blue Jays in late January after spending his first eight Major League seasons with the Baltimore Orioles. The Blue Jays are hoping that Santander can build off his career year with Baltimore last year. The switch-hitting slugger hit a career-high 44 home runs to go with 102 RBI and 25 doubles. Although he hit a mere .235 at the plate, his home run upside makes him a potential steal in points leagues. Now, it remains to be seen how Santander will fit into this Toronto lineup, but he could finish with over 100 RBI once again if he hits in front of Bo Bichette and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. The switch from Oriole Park at Camden Yards to Rogers Centre also shouldn't really affect Santander's numbers during the 2025 season. Both ballparks rank middle of the pack in terms of park factor. RotoBaller has the new Blue Jays outfielder ranked 85th in rotisserie leagues and 46th in points leagues.
