Anthony Rizzo Doesn't Expect To Play Tuesday
5 years agoChicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo (back) said that he doesn't expect to play on Tuesday against the Mets. Rizzo left the game on Saturday and hasn't played since, but it seems like he's improving, meaning he could be back in the lineup as soon as Wednesday. Rizzo is hitting a nice .290/.402/.526 with 25 home runs, 80 runs, 82 RBI and five steals in 445 at-bats this year, so his fantasy owners want him back as soon as possible. He's hitting .324 (22-for-68) with four home runs and 11 RBI in 22 games in the month of August. Hopefully he'll pick up right where he left off when he returns to the lineup.
