Anthony Miller Rehabbing, Studying Film
5 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Anthony Miller (shoulder) has been studying other NFL receivers to see how he can raise his game while rehabbing from left shoulder surgery for the second straight year. Steve Smith, Isaac Bruce and Stefon Diggs are among those that he's been studying. The second-round pick in 2018 was injured for most of his rookie season and caught 33 passes for 423 yards and seven touchdowns. Miller finished with 52 grabs for 656 yards and two scores in 2019. “I feel like this is going to be my best year yet,” Miller said. He's expected to be ready for training camp this summer, although he's not at the point of catching balls yet. Miller started slow last year but came on strong for a five-game stretch where he had 33 catches for 431 yards and two touchdowns late in the year. The Bears and fantasy owners want to see more consistency with him, but Miller could be a nice WR3 sleeper if he's healthy. Having Nick Foles under center instead of Mitchell Trubisky could also raise Miller's fantasy ceiling as the No. 2 behind Allen Robinson.
