Anthony Mantha Scores 10th Goal Of The Season
4 years agoDetroit Red Wings winger Anthony Mantha found the back of the net for the 10th time this season in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to Florida, Adam Erne also scored for the Red Wings, who couldn't hang on to a 2-1 lead in the third period. Patrik Nemeth had assists on both plays. Mantha joined Robby Fabbri as the second Detroit player with double figures in goals this season. The team's offense has been stagnant for most of the season and they are scoring only 2.16 goals a night, which is the second-lowest mark in the league. The offensive woes mean that fantasy managers can't get much out of the Red Wings roster, but Mantha is one of the more attractive pieces, and with the team playing a bit better, the 26-year-old has bagged a pair of goals lately to pick up some momentum. He finishes the week with a back-to-back set versus Tampa, against whom he's had a successful run with four points in four games.
