The 22-year-old missed two games because of a hip pointer before returning for Wednesday's meeting with the San Antonio Spurs, scoring 17 points in 37 minutes. However, he lasted only four minutes against the Grizzlies on Friday before aggravating the injury. At this rate, it appears Edwards could miss more games moving ahead, which would be a tough blow for the first-place Timberwolves. It will also be unfortunate for fantasy managers, considering the 2020 No. 1 overall pick has averaged 24.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.2 steals throughout the 2023-24 campaign. If Edwards misses time, Nickeil Alexander-Walker would presumably see a noticeable uptick in production, giving him value for those needing to fill a hole in their fantasy lineup.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
