Andy Dalton In Make-Or-Break Year?
6 years agoCincinnati Bengals owner Mike Brown said the team won't consider extending quarterback Andy Dalton before the 2019 season. Dalton's final year of his contract is in 2020, so the upcoming season with new head coach Zac Taylor will be very important for his future in Cincinnati. The 31-year-old signal-caller played in just 11 games due to injury in 2018 and threw for 2,566 yards, 21 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Dalton also lost a lot of playmakers around him due to injury, including receiver A.J. Green, so he receives somewhat of a pass. He could easily bounce back, but Dalton still should only be drafted as a capable fantasy backup.
