Andrew Miller Resumes Throwing Program
6 years agoCleveland Indians general manager Chris Antonetti said relief pitcher Andrew Miller (shoulder) has resumed a throwing program and threw long toss up to 75 feet on flat ground on Sunday. Miller was put on the 10-day disabled list on Aug. 27 but isn't expected to miss much more than the minimum time required. The left-hander has been bothered by injuries all year and has an un-Miller like 3.38 ERA in only 24 innings. Miller can be an asset for his ratios to finish out the year if he's fully healthy, but you may want to think about dropping him for better options in shallower leagues.
