5 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons (ankle) took live batting practice on Wednesday and will join the team this weekend in Houston, although that doesn't mean he'll be activated from the injured list. Simmons has been out since Aug. 2 and is hitting .274/.315/.382 with five home runs, 28 RBI and nine steals in just 74 games this year. It'll be nice for the Angels to get him back with a month left in the season, but he's not of much importance to fantasy owners outside of deep mixed and AL-only leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
