6 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons (back) is not in the starting lineup on Friday. Zack Cozart is moving over to shortstop and will hit seventh, while David Fletcher starts at third base and is batting ninth against Rangers starting pitcher Lance Lynn. Simmons left the game as a precaution on Thursday and an MRI exam came back clean, so expect him to return on Saturday. The 29-year-old is hitting just .167 with no extra-base hits and three RBI in seven games while striking out four times and walking once. An already thin Halos lineup is even worse without Simmons, making Lynn a nice streamer Friday night. Fletcher is a desperation DFS play this evening.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
