Andrei Vasilevskiy Joins Rare Company With Tuesday's Win
3 years agoTampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy beat Montreal 3-2 with a 21-save effort on Tuesday to become the second goalie in NHL history with 60 wins in a calendar year. Marc-Andre Fleury was previously the lone member of the club after notching 62 wins for Pittsburgh in 2009. The numbers include wins picked up in the playoffs. Vasilevskiy is off to another super campaign and sits on a 13-4-3 record. He's allowed 2.13 goals per game with a .927 save percentage and two shutouts.
