Amari Cooper Wants To Stay With Cowboys
5 years agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper, who will be a free agent after the season, said he wants to remain with the Cowboys. Cooper could receive the franchise tag in the offseason, but Week 17 against the Redskins could also be his last game with the team if the Eagles beat the Giants. The 25-year-old has really disappointed the last two weeks as a WR1 with everything on the line for his fantasy owners, but he's been a very consistent No. 1 receiver for the majority of the season, catching 75 passes for 1,097 yards and eight touchdowns for Dallas. Staying in big D with Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott is probably the best thing for his fantasy value. If he were to go elsewhere, Michael Gallup would become this team's No. 1 receiver.
